Management Team


Jim Keller, President:  Jim has spent his whole career in the forest products and packaging industry. He started with Weyerhaeuser Company in 1974 and retired from Weyerhaeuser in 2008. During his career with Weyerhaeuser his roles included Plant General Manager, Regional Vice President and for his last 10 years he was Senior Vice President of the Containerboard Packaging and Recycling Business. With the closure of the Weyerhaeuser facility on Oahu in 2008, Jim formed a distribution company in Honolulu, Hawaii Box and Packaging. With the subsequent purchase of Hawaii Box and Packaging by Rengo Japan in 2011, Jim was hired by Rengo to build the current plant in Kapolei. He has been President of Rengo Packaging since 2016.


Midori Oka, Executive Vice President: Midori has over 30 years of experience in paperboard and corrugated businesses, especially 10 years of experience in investors relations with Rengo Co., Ltd. in Japan.


Nobuaki Ito, Factory Manager:  Nobuaki's experience includes Maintenance and production control, Production Manager/Technical Adviser in Indonesia at Surya Rengo Containers, Rengo Japan Eniwa and Asahikawa Plant, Production Manager, Rengo Japan Osaka Head Office, Production Manager, Production Adviser in China. In addition, Nobuaki has more than 15 years of Production Management experiences.


Gordon Lindo, Production Manager:  Gordon has over 40 years of extensive experience in the packaging industry, and has served in many roles within the production department. With his extensive experience and knowledge, Gordon contributes to all aspects of our operations.


Michele Spencer, Project Manager/Planner: Michele joined the Rengo team in 2016 as a Purchaser. Michele has spent the last 12 years as a Multi-Unit District Manager in retail operations with locations throughout the Hawaiian Islands. Michele has since taken on the responsibilities of Project Manager/Production Planner along with Purchasing and Facility Management.


Kelly Kam, Customer Service & Planning Manager: Kelly leads a team of customer service professionals with over 18 years of experience in the corrugated industry. In addition to overseeing department operations, Kelly also functions as a liaison between sales, customers, production planning, and production to ensure full customer satisfaction. She also manages the procurement and inventory of rollstock.


Harriet Ngethe, Human Resources Manager: Harriet joined the Rengo Team in 2017 as a Senior Human Resource Generalist. Harriet graduated with a degree in Human Resources Management in 2013 and recently pursued a masters in Human Resources Management 2017. Harriet brings many years of experience and a proven track record of success in the Human Resources department. She was recently promoted to the Human Resources Manager role.


Ines Wells, Controller: Ines is a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) and has 20 years of experience in Finance and Accounting. She spent many years in the insurance industry before she joined Rengo Packaging in 2015. As Controller, Ines supports all financial aspects of the organization. Ines is also a licensed Notary in the State of Hawaii


Joe Dumapit, Safety, Environmental, Health & QA Supervisor: Joe has over 20 years’ experience in the Safety, Environmental, Health and Quality Assurance field from various industries including, semiconductor research, DoD and consulting.


Sales Team


Kekoa Aiu, Account Manager :  Kekoa is an experienced business consultant and sales professional with over 14 years of packaging experience and over 20 years of selling experience. Kekoa's territories include Oahu and Hawaii.


Emmi Meyer, Account Manager : Emmi began her sales career with over 10 years of customer service and internal selling. Emmi is an experienced sales consultant for the last 3 years, and her territories include Oahu and Kauai.


Dean Yamamoto, Account Manager : Dean is an experienced business consultant and sales professional with over 14 years of packaging experience and over 20 years of selling experience. His territory also includes Oahu and Maui.


Scott Werny, Senior Design Engineer: Scott has been designing innovative packaging for over 28 years. Scott has produced numerous national award-winning designs that effectively market customer products and provide superior strength and protection throughout the distribution chain.


Customer Service Team


Frannie Park, Inside Sales Representative/Customer Service Specialist:  Frannie serves in a dual role supporting existing customers and new customers. Frannie has over 20 years’ experience in the industry.


Mana Sabir, Customer Service Representative: Mana joins the team with the responsibility of supporting customers and the sales organization. Mana has over 4 years’ experience in the industry.
